Hildegard, eine ältere Dame, und der 13-jährige Tim leben in einer größeren Stadt. Ihr Leben ist eintönig und langweilig. Die beiden fühlen sich einsam und verlassen. Als Hildegards Handtasche gestohlen wird, beginnt ein kleines Abenteuer, an dessen Ende eine Freundschaft steht und das alle Akteure aus ihrem Alltag reißt.
Hildegard, an elderly lady, and 13-year-old Tim are living in a big city. Their lives are dreary and they both feel lost and lonely. When Hildegard’s handbag is stolen, they embark on a little adventure: eventually they become friends and, for a moment, their daily routines are left behind.
