›Arnos Tonlabor‹ ist eine experimentelle Hommage an die Analog-Tontechnik und an den Filmtonmeister Arno Wilms. In dessen Labor und Werkstatt dokumentierte Christoph Janetzko Arbeitsabläufe in sehr nahen Einstellungen. Kabel, Teile von Bandmaschinen und elektrische Bauteile werden in Großaufnahmen zusammengefügt. Der Ton entsteht durch die Montage der dokumentierten Arbeitsprozesse und wurde durch die ›Musique Concrete‹ und den Komponisten Pierre Henry inspiriert.
›Arnos Tonlabor‹ is an experimental homage to analogous sound engineering and the master of film sound Arno Wilms, in whose laboratory and workshop Christoph Janetzko documents work processes: Cables, parts of tape machines and electric parts are assembled in close-ups. A montage of the documented work processes creates the sound that gets its inspiration from Pierre Henry’s ›Musique Concrete‹.
