Edith und ihr Mann Peter leben auf dem Lande. Peters Neffe Johannes kommt unverhofft übers Wochenende zu Besuch. Ediths junge Schwester Lisa ist auch gerade im Haus. Nach und nach entspinnt sich eine unterschwellige Rivalität zwischen Onkel und Neffe um die Gunst Lisas.
