said the pig to the cow. Actually, the festival team considered the subject Home to be awkward or at least quaint, jingoistic and generally very ambiguous and misused. And what do the film makers have to say? Quite a lot, actually. We were surprised by this year's record number of submissions (more than 230 films), of which, accidentally or not, an unusual proportion came from German speaking nations.

In this happy-birthday spirit: Enjoy yourself and heckle, for heckling is all part of the Three-Minute Quickie. That's what we are used to, because we are calling the Three-Minute Quickie our home, year after year.
